This summer World Scholars Academy is introducing a Creative Writing Academy for high school students ages 15-18. On this course students will be led by a world-leading English scholar to explore the both the art and the science of writing well. On the course you will explore different genres of creative writing, examine frameworks utilized by history’s greatest authors, as well as identify the common elements possessed by good writing. Challenge yourself to write outside of your comfort zone. Expand your creativity and learn how to incorporate effective rhetorical and dramatic techniques into your writing, and adapt your literary voice to the context at hand.
